Lewandowski ‘NOT FOR SALE’

Manchester United have suffered a setback in their quest to land Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski according to the Daily Mail with the German club saying they are ‘sick’ of the speculation.

Following a fantastic season in the Bundesliga – the 23-year-old scored 22 goals to help Dortmund to the title – Lewandowski was thought to be a target for Manchester United this summer.

These rumours then became even stronger when the striker scored the first goal of Euro 2012 in Poland’s 1-1 draw with Greece last Friday.

However, Dortmund are determined to hold onto their star man, with chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke insisting he is not for sale at any price.
